Random Game Ideas

I have an over active imagination. I keep coming up with these great game ideas and then never write them down. So I'm writing them down, so when I finish Sword of Vengeance I can start working on them.

RPG Maker 1

A Farming Game - You play a young farmer who has just moved into the area. You also rescue local animals who are either being mistreated or whose owners can't take care of them anymore. The locals will also help you develop your farm. Can you make it a success?

RPG Maker 2

A Dective Agency - You start out as an apperantice and work your way up thorough the ranks. The more cases you solve the more fame you get. Once you gain enough fame you can open your own Agency. Once you solve enough high profile cases you gain new tools to help you solve the bigger cases. Do you have what it takes to solve the ultimate crime?

RPG Maker 3

Guild Wars - Raven has just started and the guild. Although all is not what it seems. The guilds that were born to protect the people of the land are now at war with each other. Raven is now in the middle of the war. Captured by a rival guild will Raven resists their offers of compassion and uncover the truth behind the war or will this be the end of this young man's life.

I'd say the Farming Sim and Guild Wars are the best ideas. A detective game on RM2 might take way too long to make. You also could always add in a dating sim to the Farm game and have yourself a reinvented Harvest Moon

I've never actually played a Harvest Moon game before. Am I missing out on anything spectacular? If so, which game would you recommend?

I've got an unfinished farming/dating sim for RPGM3 putzing around. It's in demo form, but it's sorta not releasable. Open-ended games are difficult to make in demo form.

Well I rather enjoyed the game. If you enjoy games that simulate life then I say you should give it a try. Plus I also like how you can play the game again and not have the same thing happen twice. I would recommend Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life. It came out both for the Gamecube and for the PS2.
