what was the name of this god-awful CG movie?

I was talking to a friend about the current scum of the movie industry, animal-based CG movies.

one I was desperately trying to think of, the title escapes me, and that frustrates the hell out of me.

it was about a dog. I think the dog was white. the movie was titled with the dog's name. it ****ing bombed. hard. so hard I dont even remember the title of the movie. I never saw it. I think the poster or DVD cover had a close up of the ugly cartoon dog's face. I think it had tiny eyes? maybe had a D in the name.

I dont ****ing know. I'm just really annoyed I cant remember the name of this **** movie.

That one that the Lilo and Stitch guy was workign on and was going to make it a kickass 2D movie before Disney gave him to boot and made it a run of the mill CGI snorefest?

no. this was like, not disney. and no one saw it. I think I only ever saw it mentioned online, in articles about what a massive failure it was. it was a big dog. maybe a sheep dog? I dont ****ing know.

Wow, the American dub is so much worse. Why did they even feel that was necessary? It's the same damn language!

"I know Dog Fu"? And they don't bother making that quip about the opera-singing cow.

And the dog went from awkwardly reserved and nervous in the British version, to a whiny, loudmouthed kid in the American version. Goes to show what movie-makers think would appeal to American audiences.
