Are they doing a hardcopy for this one, too? I wanted to buy a hardcopy last time but it was nearly 3x the original price.

Yeah. It's got eight extra articles or so. It's still three times as expensive unfortunately. That's the price we pay for vanity press.

Man that Metroid is gonna be gnawing for sometime...

I enjoyed the gameboy one when I eventually got it, so I should get this one too...

I'm glad you liked the Game Boy one. I'm not real happy with my comic for that issue. I can guarantee that this issue is a million times better than the last.

My copy arrived, and I was reading it until I left it out my friend's house!

I find that a handful of the games that I'm really excited to read about actually have essays that aren't fantastic. I can sense that the person obviously loves the game, but I find myself wondering how they could bring up some things and not other things and I end up wishing that I had just written it instead.

HOWEVER, nearly ALL of the articles have the wonderful quality of being about not just that particular game, but all video games.

Aside from Parish, who is always able to write something beautiful about something he cares about, my favorite pieces so far were the Silent Hill 2 one - which excellently exalts the sheer oppresiveness and dread of the game - and Loki's brilliant Super Mario Bros. essay, which really put a lot of things in perspective.

Get this, guys! Show some support, and maybe the next issue will have less typoes!
