Take a look at my short film from 2007, The Chosen Ones. It's a pre-apocalyptic view at corporatism in our world and how it could affect the fragile future. On the surface, it's a testing board for high paced action and special effects. Take a look at it. Description below, two parts bc of length.
In the year 2008, a superpower corporation called MyroTech has successfully gained political control over a large portion of the world. The only ones to stand against the company with evil intentions is The Reservoir, a superpower corporation itself, formed to combat MyroTech and prevent it from taking control of the world, for the worse. With the two companies' feuds at their breaking points, they both gain technology to train two normal young men to have superhuman powers, both trained with the sole intention of destroying each other and gaining control of a magic amulet that will give the final upper hand to whichever company retrieves it. With this said, the race is on between Barret Marrow and Frances Olivar, and their ensuing battle for the fate of the world, rests on one fateful day in mid-December.
