    I'm a kid at heart...because I bought Starfy.

I had no idea that they had made four other titles with this Kirby-ish hero in Japan. I saw a few clips of the games on Youtube, which enticed me to get the first American title fifth overall in Japan).

What can I say? It's fairly easy, with the main challenge coming near the end of the game, and even then, it's damn near impossible to die unless you really suck at video games.

    *** SPOILERS ***
One thing I like, though, is that when you beat the game, you unlock a new level where you play as Starfy's sister, and while she may not have as many moves as her brother, she uses two other techniques which are crucial for getting through the remainder of her journey.
    *** END SPOILERS ***

First "My World, My Way" and now this. What in the hell is wrong with me?

P.S. I still at the 13-minute mark in Dark Spire.

Just make sure to pick up Scribblenauts when it comes out. Because THAT is (will be) a GOOD kids/all-ages game.

    Trust me on this. PLEASE.

You know I'm a picky person, Perv. My DS library is very small. Could you show me some reviews and/or some screen shots to persuade me?

it's a puzzle platformer. any (family friendly, untrademarked) word you enter into the game is added to the game world to help you get through the level, and they all work as you would expect them to. add dingo, it makes a dingo. add baby, it makes a baby. if the dingo gets near the baby, the dingo eats the baby. add longcat, longcat appears.

You use the stuff you bring into the world to help you solve puzzles and get through the level.

There's also a level editor included, for you to create and share your own levels.

scribblenauts is shaping up to be game of the year material. I cant think of anything that could possibly give it competition. you could have fun for weeks just putting in words to see what shows up.

Crawl out from under that rock, Bon. It's only been voted as "Best of E3" by three major gaming sites. A DS game. Best of Show. Three major gaming sites. No handheld has EVER won a Best of E3 award from one site, let alone 3.

          Here.

Click on the first interview that Chuck links to. If you can get through all 5 pages (and if you're anything like me, you'll breeze right through it) and you are not dumbfounded by what they are trying to accomplish (and apparently have succeeded fairly admirably), then this might not be the game for you.

If this game flops, my faith in the video game industry and its consumers will plummet.

EDIT: It's been plummeting for a while, buoeyed by the smattering of quality releases that are not sequels and that try something new and different. If Scribblenauts flops, my faith will come close to bottoming out.

Scribblenauts just kind of turns me off with it's preschool television art style.

they needed a simple art style to be able to make the game. otherwise, it'd require way too much work, and take up too much space.

It really does look interesting. I'm not bull----ing here.

However, there lies a problem. Bowser's Inside Story comes out that week as well, and I really have my eyes set on that title...like, as soon as possible.

Anyone interested in getting Starfy, though?

I'm interested in it, but its a bit expensive for such an easy game that I imagine I'll fly right through. I'll get it when it comes down in price.

We've had it at work for the past few months or so, and even though I've personally only sold one copy, it's apparently fairly popular. As for myself picking it up....probably not. Kiddie platformers just don't do it for me. Really haven't since SMB3 (having made an exception for Mario 64). Platformers in general I'm kinda meh about.

But as long as YOU like it, that's all that matters!

Heh, is that so? Honestly, weeks before it even came out, I hadn't a clue who or what Starfy was, and then Game Informer was saying it had this Kirby-Mario flare. I figured, what the hell, I may as well try it out.

Game Stop had it, but for 35 bucks. I decided to purchase it for 5 bucks cheaper at a nearby Wallyworld (fyi, Wal-Mart).

I have a cousin that just turned nine who would love this game.

I haven't played the game, just watched some videos. Looks unsurpisingly boring. Comparisons to Kirby are warranted, but at least Kirby has awesome music.
