I don't care how much you disagree. This makes me laugh to no end.

To clear up any misunderstanding of Dungeons & Dragons...that's when you take it wayyyy too far. Not only are you playing as a character...you are that character. Live action role-players are...

Ugh...I can't even think of a word suitable. Good god.

Ren-fair is cool. Larping is not.

I never dressed for the Ren-Fest. I always say I will but never end up doing it. I got a blue kilt I might wear for it this year. Though, I may be a wimp and end up not going through with it. And yeah, geeks who larp make other geeks like me actually look cool.

I dunno. Larping always looked kind-of fun to do for me. I mean. You get to hit people with stuff. and it looks silly and funny as anything. I kind-of wish I could give it a go, but new-england seems to hate geeks and all thier glory. the whole "lignigz boltz" is kind-of lame, but having huge armys and fighting people is kind-of neat and hilarious at the same time.

I have a friend who is a stock broker running the floor by day and runs a LARPing Nero chapter on weekends. I tried it once. I didn't like it.

                HAH! Pro-Wresting LARPing...take that!

No seriously, though. I can sort of defend all forms of role-playing games as it helps teach drama, acting and improvisation. Even LARP, but I can't do it and take it seriously. I still want to take acting lessons, though.
