I'm near the end but I'm stuck on trying to bring down a Star Destroyer. For some reason, I can't seem to be able to kill off the freaking 18 TIE Fighters that swarm me before the Star Destroyer repositions itself. That and the fact that the controls aren't very user-friendly for this part of the game for me, I'm getting pretty frustrated with it. Too bad, and I was having fun before this retarded portion surfaced...

Am I doing something wrong? I keep trying to destroy the fighters with the floating accellerators and with force powers if I can snag them with grip. Then I try to grip and bring down the destroyer. By the time I turn it by a whole freaking hair the fighters swarm me again and I end up letting go of the ship to start over. Then the destroyer is back in the same spot in just seconds. What the ****...

It's time for a break.

This part was very hard for me to, you just have to keep trying, using the force to grab the Tie fighters and smash them into each other a quickly as possible and the continue to bring down the big ship. It takes patients, but you'll get it eventually.

When in doubt, look it up on gameFAQs. Or check one of the many youtube videos. There's a lot of help out there.

Yeah Force smash or force lightning the tiefighter waves. Then when they stop pull down the destroyer some more. Then take out the next tie fighter wave. Rinse repeat.

It took me ****ing forever though to pull the star destroyer in the right direction. I kept following those stupid directions on screen, and I was like **** THIS ISNT WORKING!!

Yeah, I watched a YouTube video of it and I feel like it isn't impossible to do now. The guy was just a lot more aggressive than I was. I could use a boost up a force talent or two (like health, maybe). Hmm...I wonder if I'm gonna have to fight Proxy again or not...I can't remember if it auto-saves after that. Ah well, he wasn't that tough. And yeah, as it turned out, the helper tips on the screen were throwing me off. I wonder if Yoda would have an easier time with this...Hmm....

I took her down, finally ....as I thought, it was mostly a matter of getting past the wierd controlling of it. That and you can't be afraid to get hit until you're almost out of health. Talk about living on the edge....

That was the most hated part of the game for me.

The rest of the game is ok.

Story wise, I really liked it.

I just beat it a lil while ago, despite the game's occasional moments of uber cheapness... it was fun. I'd give it a 8/10. I liked the action and the story was interesting. But for the love of god I don't want to see another Star Destroyer or a super-badboy stormtrooper (the upgraded ones) for a while.

Edit: Or a rancor either...good god.

I loved the game, and i was stuck on that part for a while too, because the directions it was givinig me were going against what it seemed like it should be doing. After about 30 minutes of back and forth, i decided to follow my gut, and finished that part in about 2 minutes.

That frustrated me the most, though I'll admit it was finally satisfying to pull a Yoda with an Imperial starship.
