How to submit games to the RPG Maker Pavilion - Updated 3/5/2014

1. Select the forum that supports your submission

2. Select "New Thread".

3. For the "Title", put your game's title. ONLY your game's title.

4. In the "Message" field, describe your game's story, features, and any other information you believe is relevant.

5. If your game is a console RPG Maker game or demo, you're able to upload it directly to the site. If it's a PC RPG Maker game or demo, you'll have to upload it elsewhere and link to it here. If uploading a console game, under "Additional Options", there is an option for "Attach Files". Select "manage attachments". If you're submitting a PC RPG Maker game, you can still upload screenshots.

6. Click browse to find the game file on your computer, and click "Upload". all files MUST be zipped. You're able to upload ten attachments to your submission post. The ideal way to use these is to use one attachment for the game console's native format (dex drive or max drive), a second for a PS3 format save file, and the remaining slots for screenshots or other extra material you want to accompany your game.

7. If you need to update your game, simply edit it's submission post at any time. You can check the site's game directory to see how your game will appear in the listings after each edit. Try to make it fit in with the rest. No huge or colorful text, no images posted in the top of the post that appears in the directory, just general things like that.

8. Only one submission thread per game, unless the differences between the versions are drastic enough that it warrants having multiple versions available, such as a director's cut, or an alternate version with different features.

9. If you have a converted file for someone else's game, please post that in the conversions subforum at the bottom of the submission subforum listing.

10. Everything posted in the submission forums appears immediately on the site, so don't make a post without having your game ready to go up with it. These will be deleted on-sight by the staff.

Thank you for supporting the RPG Maker Pavilion!

    devil hunter monoko review

    description

This game is based on the anime Devil Hunter Monoko. You play as Monoko, a demon slayer who must vanquish the the sinister evil Yohma out of the human world once and for all! This is the first (and currently only) chapter in the series.

Oh my, so Omni is officially a pervert. One playthrough and you will loose all innocence. He must be hiding a secret because he knows way too much about womanly stuff and just has the chars come out and say it. This makes up a large part of the game, making the plot funny and just shocking. Yes, Tifa does make an appearance though not in any physical form.

The game itself is based largely on an anime called Monoko Devil Hunter. I’ve never seen the anime myself but in my experience I can see that what Omni’s produced is most likely close to the what the plot would be like (devil slaying, sex talk, and all that teen girl Asian anime crap).

The game play itself is really good. This game has the best cut scenes I’ve seen. They are fun, fully animated, and make good use of the software to get something that could pass at least within sniper range of an anime flash scene.

The environments are massive, I mean like huge. The buildings and maps where just the way they should be. There was plenty of variety, and most stuff was relevant to the story setting. I found that most of the map was entirely pointless and you could very easily bypass it all by just trying to get to your next location. I wanted to explore the areas a bit more but I accidentally picked the right paths nearly the whole time and never received a second chance to do so. Not sure if it’s good or bad but I’m glad I didn’t have to walk over every inch of the huge maps just to activate the next scene.

In Devil Hunter, the battles where easy in the beginning but became impossible for the final battle. There is not much for equipment and healing and the only magic you can use was limited to the first part of the game. Because of the way the system was designed I couldn’t backtrack to the pop machine to pick up a few extra cokes and was forced to rely on the turkey dinner thing and a coke to see me through, which wasn’t going to happen.

The game was extremely creative, with theme oriented plot developments like the exorcist of the demons which I liked. I also liked the use of the change party color command - that gets overlooked for the simple things like making your party appear as a shadow. Sound effects were well used also, which is yet another often overlooked feature.

Watch out for the frequent tentacles that plague this game, else you may develop a fetish! Speaking of which, there are so many sexual references that I wondered if this anime is not somehow responsible for much of the interest in tentacles or just Omnis personal fetish thrown in (secretly guards his tentacles hentai).

Overall I was satisfied with the game. I’d play a second chapter if one ever came out which it most likely won’t. Give the game a try; you might as well check out one of the more perverted games in the RPG Maker 1 collection.
