$40 list...they had it for $20 last week on Amazon. I was ALL OVER that. Finally...one of my top five films of all time is out in a version/print that does not look like utter ass.
This IS a polarizing film, though. Many (myself included) think it is one of, if not THE creepiest horror film of all time. Others do not think that psychological horror even counts as horror. Even more think that it is one of the most boring and slow-paced films ever made, and that nothing really happens.
As with [Safe], #1 on my list, nothing could be further from the truth.
For those without a Blu-Ray player, the Criterion DVD was released the same day as well.
