I've got 2 60 gig PS3s, and got the 40 gig PS2 HDD bundled with FFXI a while back from my work for like $13 or something. Didn't know at the time I needed the network adapter. One of the guys from Gamestop called me the other day and told me a used one came in, and they were selling it for $15 (they go for at least 3-4 times that online). So I picked it up.
Okay, so I have no desire to play FFXI. I have no need to install RPGM3 on it, as I use my PS3 to play it (if and when I ever do). I know it's possible to do something to put full games on the HDD (Argggh, Matey!), but I have enough PS2 games I do not play right now to even WANT to pirate more, even if I could. So does anyone know of any novel things I can do with a PS2/HDD/network adapter setup?
While on the subject, I downloaded and installed that PS3 patch that allows for PS2 game installation (realistically, to enable playing FFXI on the PS3), but when I've tried to install RPGM3 numerous times, it always gives me an error message. Does anyone know (ie: Valk) if it's even possible using that download to install RPGM3 on the PS3's HDD?
