Into the Wastes

Just bought the Fallout Trilogy and I'm about to have my first experience with the original Fallout games starting with numero uno. However, I've heard that those games have a lot of glitches and I was wondering if anyone knows where to get some decent patches so I don't have to worry.

Once I get that settled I'll have a little fun with this thread and use it as a journal.

Patches are supposed to come with the disc, but the first game still makes the screen either go black, or just flickers constantly (I have it running on Vista). I can't really enjoy the first game when I can hardly see anything.

I wish I knew where to get some vista patches.

The GOG versions have all the patches, and work perfect with both XP and Vista.

yeah, you should have just got them from gog.com. just 5.99 each. with full manuals, soundtracks, and other bonus materials.
