It's about a washed up baseball star who is trying to cope with being a has been.

It's on HBO and season one was just released on DVD. It's a serial series so each episode flows into the next one. Basically, watching season one is like watching two movies.

The show is produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay so it has a lot of their anti-hero, braggard-style of characters. It's brilliantly shot, acted, written and directed and apparently no one really knows about it.

I watched it. It's good but only six episodes and they always end on the most random note. Kinda like Foot Fist Way if he played baseball.

A friend showed the first episode to me. It made laugh noises come out of my mouth.

I don't think they leave on random notes at all. They're usually just downers with questions remaining as to what Kenny will do next.
