a request to pav members in or near toronto - karr? sez? help a dork out?

GM is giving out an exclusive Transformer named Swerve at what I think are called "mall tours" or some crap like that. basically, a traveling GM event. All you have to do to get the transformer is fill out a survey. it costs nothing.

if one of you happens across this GM event thing, please fill out a survey and get Swerve for me. I will pay you to ship it to me, and pay you for your trouble as well.

    it looks like this:

and this is the only way to get it.

I think this tour thing is going on all summer.

please keep me in mind, peoples.

How much were you thinking of paying? I mean, here is one with a buy-it-now price of $16.99.

            [EDIT] ...With 8 dollar shipping.

ah, that is a different swerve that is a red car. the giveaway one is a chevy aveo.

and the cheapest one of those on ebay is 75. which is awful, considering the damn thing is free from GM.

                Oh, ok. MAN, that sucks.

I did find one with a starting bid of .99, but the auction still has 6 days left, the shipping is 20 bucks, and the seller's rep is for ****.

Oh and here's one for 46 bucks (58 with shipping), but still that's an insane price.

I'm sorry man, I hope you can find this thing soon.

Transformers has one of the most ****ed up group of fans with too much money I have ever seen.

Buy $15 toy. Paint it. Make probably over $400 by time the bidding ends!
                  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=140337013675

The same guy also bought that $99 devastator toy, painted it, and sold it for $4000 on ebay. I should get into painting Transformers. There seems to be alot of stupid people willing to pay out the ass for new toys repainted as their favorite characters .

Valk; These GM things usually travel westward, keep your eyes open for this, you have a number of Albertans that would jump on this for you, myself included.

                    And I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't
So here's to drinks in the dark at the end of my road
And I'm ready to suffer and I'm ready to hope

GODDAMIT!!!! I am like, 15 minutes away from the Eaton Center.. I was there Saturday

Their regular hours on sunday are til 6 (mind you it IS a civic holiday today in toronto).. I worked til 5 today, and coming from the west end, I probably would not have made it in time to grab one.

                      Sorry we failed
