Unlike the older systems, it seems that every system I buy I inevitably regret purchasing, until finally that one game comes out that makes me think "oh man, I'm glad I have this console, or I would be missing out."
What game was it for you on your consoles?

GameBoy - Tetris that came with it
SNES - Mario that came with it
Game Gear - kinda sour about this system. maybe the sonic that came with it.
The next generation

N64 - i traded it before zelda came out... or it probably woulda been that. Or goldeneye. but since not, nothing. i didnt really like mario 64 that much either.
PS1 - FF7
Gaming Prime

Dreamcast - Seaman
PS2 - I got Devil May Cry, GTA3, and FFX within a little bit of each other...oh man. ps2 rocked.
Gamecube - nothing. didn't like zelda that much, didn't like mario sunshine. probably played super monkey ball more than any other game on the system...whoopie
GBA - that first Castlevania game

Xbox 360 - Gears of War. before that i was playing halo 2 on it more than anything else
PS3 - before Valkyria Chronicles, it was just a blu-ray player
Wii - I got it after wii sports had lost its novelty. It took tiger woods pro tour 10 to get me to play it again and be happy with the system.
DS - I dunno about this one when i think about it. maybe tetris DS. hardly any DS game has kept my attention for very long though.
PSP - when i got it I loved lumines...but 5 years later or whatever, my psp library only lumines and lumines 2. stupid psp
