    Star Wars Holiday Special

I found this in-depth analysis of the Star Wars Holiday Special, and found it amusing. For those who have seen it (I dubbed a copy onto VHS from a friend of a friend a decade or more ago, and have only been able to stomach watching it once), the review is great. For those who have not seen it, it'll do one of two things...either scare you away from ever wanting to watch it, or pique your morbid curiousity to see if anything could really be this bad.

God, it's... it's one of the worst things. It's BEYOND MSTing. It's just a horror to behold.

Honestly? Bea Arthur is the best part.

I liked the cartoon with Boba Fett. And who doesn't like Harvey Korman?

I think tipsy is an understatement.

She either just fixed, or was three sheets to the wind.

Also, I didn't remember until I read that and saw the pics exactly how bad Luke looked in the thing. Yeah, he had recently suffered a disfiguring car accident, but in Empire, he wasn't so horribly....plastic-looking.

Bea Arthur is the best part of anything, Kefka.

Yeah, but...Bea Arthur vs the first official appearance of Boba Fett...you guys really think Bea Arthur has a leg up in that race?

Bea Arthur vs. television animation from the seventies?

I know who the winner is.

Though I will say that cartoon was better than it had any right to be.
