I remember hearing about this game a couple years ago. After seeing the trailer above I got a bit interested in it. If this is like 4 player coop Fallout 3. I think it'd be pretty cool.

Anyone share this feeling?

this is one of those rare games where the company is like "we have all the time and budget in the world let's just completely redo the engine and graphics."

and they did. i like the new art direction more than the joss-whedon's-firefly-badlands-planet they had going on a year ago and the idea that every gun is slightly different than the rest is neat but i can't shake the jak 3 vibe of driving around a wasteland to go on generic shoot-and-destroy missions.

Yeah, I read a while back that the art direction underwent a complete redesign. This might be okay.

could some mod just change the topic title, it's going to bug me kind of like the "offical" fallout thread did..

edit: borderlands is my most anticipated game of the year. I'm just afraid the gunplay will feel "off" like Fallout 3, or the missions will be just kill x of y, as marcus said.

Some more stuff on the game about different classes and how they made an AI that creates guns. I'm getting more excited for this.
