500 Days of Summer

didn't know about this one going into it, but I really liked it a lot. I thought it was pretty well done. I loved the way it jumped around and stuff. sort of how, when you remember things, you don't really remember them in chronological order, specifically when you're thinking about relationships. you remember bits and pieces about the beginning and then start thinking about the end with absolutely no transition or immediate recollection of everything that happened in between. I loved how the movie did that.
Joseph Gordon-Levitzz was so good in this movie, but if you've seen Brick or Mysterious Skin, you know how great of an actor he is. I haven't really seen him in a comedy since 10 Things I Hate About You, so I was really taken by surprise with how funny and on he was in this movie. and Zooey Deschanel is always great. even if you don't like her acting, you have to admit, she's a lot of fun to look at.
it's a very charming and sweet movie that I connected with a lot and I highly recommend it.

I figured as much, but thought that it would be better to get an opinion from someone with firsthand knowledge :3

My girlfriend doesn't really like romcoms, but from what I am hearing it isn't the typical fare, so she should go for it. If not, I'll drag a random friend with me if I must.

Yeah, I initially thought that the "smart" dinosaur guy was making a joking reference to Translucid's topic about movies to see with his girlfriend.


Also, Smarticus (*shudder*), your vocabulary is obviously not generous enough to give you the proper way to use the word "your" in the situation in which you used it.

Perv, I am well aware that you hate my name, I don't care and you making fun of it won't make me change it.

Having a large vocabulary has nothing to do with being to lazy to make sure I use the proper your/you're. Vocabulary is not the same as grammar, or syntax, or anything else.

How about extensive? Does that work better?
