Xbox 360 Controller Problem on PC

I'm probably making a big mistake thinking you guys care, but here we go.

I bought Indigo Prophecy for the PC as a digital download and everything was going smoothly until I realized the game didn't recognize my right analog stick. So I go in to adjust the settings and find out while there is a space to change that setting, it's still not recognizing I'm pressing the right stick.

I go online to see if there's a solution to this problem, but all this XBCD stuff goes over my head and even trying to get it to work doesn't help.

I can't play this game without the use of the second stick. Any help, guys?

Yes. The controller works with this game. Every other button BESIDES the right analog works.

If the analog stick doesn't work anywhere else.. Maybe you should return it? Unless I'm mistaken it sounds defective.

That bites. If memory serves The right thumbstick interacts with things, makes dialogue choices, etc. So without the use of it, you pretty much can't do anything except walk around, play with the camera...weee! That sucks, man. Does it have to use a controller or can you use the keyboard and mouse (don't know how that works since I have it for the PS2).

And the game has a ton of endings (I'm not just refering to the actual endings, I'm including the tons of ways you can..."die" or fail)...

I already explained the analog stick works everywhere BUT this game.

And yeah, I can use the keyboard and mouse, but it's ridiculously uncomfortable and clunky. I can't really run using the keyboard since it's so difficult to press all the buttons you need to get around at once.

I know what you mean. Plus after getting the feel for interacting with things with the analog stick, I guess it wouldn't feel the same with...I'm assuming the mouse.

I won't pay $16 for something that most likely won't work. For that money I could just get the regular version of the game for Xbox.

Why don't you just use the regular keyboard controls?

It's not that hard.
