Why do rednecks have to own fancy collectable knives or swords? I know this doesn't apply to all, but I find the lower IQ of a person I meet, the more likely they're going to a knife with 9 edges, Riddick's knives, a samurai sword or some ****.

My friend owns a claymore and a machette along with a whole other collection of knives. He plays around with his knives and ends up stabbing himself.

He's not dumb, ok a little bit, but only when it comes to common sense.

Depends.

If they do a lot of hunting, fishing, or other outdoor activities, knives can be useful tools. But you're probably talking about those wacky overpriced impractical designer knives. In which case they probably like 'em because they're shiny.
