Seen Eternal Sunshine, that's a good example of the kind of movies we both really like. Science of Sleep is a good one that's kind of similar, if you liked Eternal Sunshine.

I loved Public Enemies.

But Christian Bale just seemed kinda boring to me. No real emotion. Johnny Depp, on the other hand, awesome as always.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Shaun of the Dead are some of my favorite "intelligent" comedies.

By intelligent I mean they're funny but don't resort to bathroom humor and gay jokes.

Pineapple Express and Harold and Kumar are also entertaining and well directed movies.
