I ****ing love the movie to death. Its up there in my greatest movies of all time list. But the special effects! I can watch it and STILL think that alot of the dinosaur parts look amazing. That brachiosaurus at the beginning looks pretty corny now, but still better looking than nearly all the special effects in newer movies.

So whats the deal new movies? Why do you look worse than a movie from SIXTEEN YEARS AGO. God I feel so old! I blame everything on CGI.

Also, hell everything these days has a severe lack of dinosaurs. Hell I even miss that sitcom called DINOSAURS. I loved that show. :"(

Jurassic Park was the movie that had everyone saying "3D is the future of movies and stuff." It's what made me first consider getting into 3D animation.

Jurassic Park is probably Spielberg's best "popcorn" movie, not to mention it having one of the most certifiably insane casts of all time.

Movies need to use more animatronics and waaaay less CGI. It costs more, but damn its worth it. Stan Winstons special effects team was the reason why so many movies even look good at all. Jurrasic Park, Terminator, Alien, Predator, Thing, Edward Scissor Hands, Tank Girl, Small Soldiers, Island of Doctor Moreau, Iron Man, etc.

I know, but they had a good balance going. These days EVERYTHING is CGI, and its just kinda overused. I dunno, good looking CGI just doesnt wow me at all. Good puppets and good old special effects can wow the pants off me.
