Heh. Yeah. He just took me to 99% PMs to tell me that he was sorry and wanted to be my friend, and in a seperate PM told me that he had to go because he needed his beauty sleep.

Hey, welcome to the Pav.
You've gotten a lot of advice already (listen to it!), so I won't bore you with more, except to say, remember this is not Gaia Online or GameFAQs or anything like that... the purpose of posting here is to get an actual idea across, not to chat like you would in a normal conversation. Browse a little and you'll get the idea.
That's certainly not to say that you can't have fun! (A few people already have... at your expense.) No need to filter yourself... just don't act like you're on AIM is all.
If you DO want to speak to people by actual IM, of course, lots of members do that with each other.
