Champions of Norrath Super-Play Thread

Anybody up for a co-op hack and slash dungeon crawl?

Or rather, is there anybody here who has a PS3 who already owns the game or is willing to buy a copy of it? I managed to snag a copy for under 15 bucks, so it's not that expensive of a PS2 game nor is it that difficult to find. The game plays an awful lot like Diablo and Baldur's Gate, and much like with those games, it's a hell of a lot better when you play it with other people. I'm not sure if bluetooth headsets work with the game or not, but it's really not that necessary for the game.

I'm really hoping that someone here jumps onboard with me. There can be up to four players at once, and I know that this is an old PS2 game but I think it would be a **** load of fun.

I have a copy, but unfortunately, just a PS2 and no network adaptor. So you're out of luck. And I have nearly all the Myrmidon Armor pieces I could share with you, if you needed them.

Really, nobody plays this game anymore, which sucks because it's fun.

It's an all out slasher, so I had fun with Dark Alliance while it lasted but after those 3 hours it was pretty much over. Champions was a bit more satisfying, though. But yeah, only a lot of fun if you have friends who play it. In fact I wish I had a set-up for my 360 with X-box Live for MUA, but I don't know anybody who'd play with me either. I have yet to get the multiplayer achievements for it.

Is Return to Arms any good?

So if a PS2 game is network compatible, the PS3 will allow you to play online? Didn't know that. I DO have a copy, but I'm fairly certain I have the original Xbox version. I'd have to check, though.

I gots me a retarded 60 gig system.

A network adapter with my PS2 but not going to run a wire through the whole house to hook it up.

If you have PS3 hooked up to the internet (60 gig) you can play Champions on-line.

Isn't that a PS2 game though? 60 gigs only work with PS1 and PS3 games. No backwards compatability with PS2 games.

Ack duhhh.

I ment the 40 gig system, not the 60 gig. Which indeed doesn't have PS2 Backwards Compatability.
