If there are aliens I hope they're just normal humans exactly like us with our own technology but they just happen to be from another galaxy. We then proceed to kill each other because we're from the Milky Way galaxy and they're from Andromeda.

Can't have those smelly Andromedans imparting their foreign galactic ways on our impressionable young Milky Way children!
