Sad to say but i have lost this game in a comp crash, I may redo it but am now making a new game on RMXP on my laptop. I shall post a forum for that game AFTER I know I will stick to it.

Plot:Its your 11th birthday and your going to get your first pokemon.
You just got up and your mom gave you a new town map.You go to see the prof. in his lab but there is a girl geting her first pokemon too.She seems nice so you pick your pokemon(Piplup,Bulbasaur,or Torchic) and then she picks the pokemon that is type wise better then your pokemon.So you battle her.You go and you see your mom outside.You talk to her and she thinks its odd that the prof. didnt give you a pokedex so she gives you hers.She walks home talking to her self.You think something is going on that you should know about but you want to go and catch some pokemon.Your new life in Argenta is going to be as a pokemon trainer.You go out to route 1 and you just notice you dont have any pokeballs.You see a pokemon center but it has a green roof, not red.You go in and to your surprise its not just a pokemon center but it also has a poke mart and mini battle tower.You sleep there for the night and now nothing so much that goes with the plot happens after this till you see the bad guys later on in the game.

Did you make those maps in RMXP? They look great!!

I would warn you about "putting thoughts in the player's head" too often, or "godmoding" as I think it's known on Role-Play boards. In a game with a well-developed main character who gets a lot of lines (for example, Lloyd in Tales of Symphonia or Squall in FF8), it's fine to have them voice their feelings about something.

But in a game like Pokemon (assuming your narrative will be told in a roughly similar style to the Pokemon games), the Main Character is basically just an avatar of the person playing the game, and it's dangerous to, as the creator, try to tell the player that, for example, they "You think something is going on that you should know about but you want to go and catch some pokemon"--and you've done this a few times just in this brief summary. As an alternative to that, you might want to instead create some sort of situation that makes it urgent to go catch a Pokemon, and as such, the player won't think ill of it when they can't immediately explore what "mom" was saying to herself.

That's somewhat of a nitpick, though. Overall, you seem to be off to a pretty solid start. Be bold!--don't be afraid to introduce new features and characters, so long as they're well thought-out. I'm actually really excited to follow this one, if it turns out to be quality I'll definitely want to play it.

I'm making (along with RealityBites) a Pokemon game for RPGM2!
It's called POkemon OnyxBlack.
--Some suggestions for the game--
Put Shuckle in the game.
Put an evolution to Shuckle in this game.
Make a character (name him Zephyrus) with a Lv. 100 Shuckle evolution with various other Steel/Rock/Flying/Psychic type Pokemon.
