    Book advice(video games)

Does anyone know of any good books about the history of video games? I checked Amazon.com but those look like they're so incompasing that they wouldn't be as thourough as I want.

I'm going to keep looking but I was wondering if anyone knew of any books worth reading.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

Honestly, go to your library. Mine had such a book, but I wish I remembered the title, it was a VERY good read.

I don't know of any books, but my suggestion would be to go wikipedia, check out the pages for Nintendo, Sega, and Atari, and start clicking on whatever raises your brows.

Also from wikipedia, History of computer and video games.

Game Over: How Nintendo Conquered the World by David Sheff and Power UP: How Japanese Video Games Gave the World an Extra Life by Christ Kohler. I also liked "Masters of Doom", but it's focus is pretty specific. there's another big famous one other there that i forget the name of. somebody else should know it.
