        I've said it before and I'll repeat it here.

        Patents have to be the #1 detriment to the progression of technology. I'm all for protecting someone's work and ideas but stupid **** like this and "method for playing games online with other people" are ridiculous and only exist so they can be brought up in lawsuits.

        edit: they should have called this "method of flowery ideological romanticism propaganda."

            well, I don't think this guy filed this patent just to pull ridiculous money-grubbing torts later, I'm pretty sure he's just a good old-fashioned whacko on the scale of the Timecube guy.
