    Metroid Prime Trilogy

    http://www.wired.com/gamelife/2009/0...series-to-wii/

There is supposed to be a collector's edition, too.

I'll be buying it, but I don't like the fact I'll be getting MP3 again, since I already have it. Still, with wide-screen support, slightly enhanced graphics, and new montion controls, it's definitely a better effort than the other "new play control" games Nintendo has released so far.

so metroid Prime 1 and 2 with motion controls? For a decent price?

Maaaan, i'll never get out of this cycle of replaying classics.
    ...and that's why.

Can't I just buy Echo's with motion controls? That's the only one I haven't beaten. I still think 50$ is too much.

Actually I think there's only the Collector's Edition. At least, Amazon and GameStop only have the CE listed, no regular version. It might not be worth it for people who already own(ed) all three games but for those who are interested the metal case and art book make the price even easier to swallow.

I can't wait to play through the original Prime all over again. It's one of my favorite games. And now that I have a better TV it will only sweeten the deal further.

As long as the art book doesn't suck I'm satisfied with buying all three games over again.

But each game already has their own unlockable art book

Hence my comment "as long as the art book doesn't suck" as in "as long as it includes material that hasn't already been seen" then it's cool. Besides, I'd rather have a tangible book in my hand so I can look at them in the future without having to keep a save game, hook up the wii, then pop the game in.

                      Ugh.

I forgot that I pre-ordered this game on Amazon and it arrived in the mail today.

The packaging for the Collector's Edition is fantastic. It's a lot like the FFXII Collector's Edition, in that it's the same size as a regular DVD case so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb and it's made of the same material. I also got a poster with it.

Yeah, the packaging is pretty nice, although the so-called art book sucks.

What can you expect from IGN?

I love Metroid Prime, I really do, but the leaps of logic that were made when attempting to draw parallels between the two completely different mediums really grind my gears.
