    Speaking of Ghostbusters

We're having Harold Ramis as a guest on the radio show I'm interning at tomorrow. I'm not sure if he's going to actually be in studio or just call-in. Probably call in.

What kind of stuff should I tell the DJ's to ask him? I had no idea the game was already out so I'll probably include some stuff about that. I was thinking about putting something about his character being one of the first to portray smart as sexy and not just geeky. Anyone think of another role like that before Ghostbusters?
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

Ask him to apologize for every movie he directed between 1995 and 2002.

Fine, just ask him to apologize for Stuart Saves His Family.

But he's good enough, he's smart enough, and doggone it, people like him!

I thought the Stuart Smalley movie was well-done actually. More meaningful and impactful and real and HUMAN than any number of Night at the Roxburys or Mary Katherine Gallaghers and It's Pats.

If he was talking to those directors I'd be asking for the same thing.

Guess what everyone, because of John Mora's attitude I'm not going to mention the Pavilion to Harold Ramus at all.

I'm sure if one of the admins at the Pavilion cannot even spell the man's name right in a topic ABOUT HIM, he probably wouldn't want to hear about the Pavilion anyway.

Oh god. Why would you want to anyway?

I dunno. Ask him what his favorite recent comedies are, or any movies. I'm always interested what films filmmakers like (and WHYYY).

Ask him about his almost-involvement with the Super Mario Bros. movie. Was there a script intact when he was asked to sign on? What if he could reboot it and did it his way? Does he keep track of, or play video games at all? He probably does if he helped WRITE the Ghostbusters game, right? Ask him how writing a game script is different from writing a film script.

Find out what the status with Ghostbusters 3 is. Apparently they all had such a good time recording the voiceovers from the game, they're gonna go ahead with another movie. See what their recording experience was like. Were they all in the same recording booth?

What WOULD the new movie be? Is it gonna be the original cast training Justin Long, Seth Rogen, Shia LeBeouf and Mos Def like we fear? Or would the recent success of movies about over-the-hill type characters like Gran Torino and Up give us hope for a movie about a bunch of old-timers going on one last ghost-busting adventure?

Ask him why he thinks Ghostbusters never went away. What makes that property so enduring, in his opinion? Are we gonna see another Analyze This? Is there a certain writer or performer he'd love to work with? ...Or work with again? Is David Cross as full of himself as he probably is? For that matter, is Michael Cera?

And seriously, what was with Bedazzled?

I'm just pulling stuff out of the air here.

                            :V
