Ehhh, I was able to find/make a weapon for Lulu that was good enough. I think it was the little alien dude from FFVIII.

I thought this **** was impossible. I'm surprised at how many chumps I know who did it with ease.

Pretty sure it's 200 dodges.

And I found it just as impossible as the jump-roping a zillion times in FFIX.

Though I managed the jump-roping. But never the dodges. I think I made it to 100 once before I said **** THIS and went back to playing Blitzball.

My friends and I made it our summer goal to get everything the year the game came out.

We managed to do the chocobo race in .11 seconds or whatever but I just didn't have the patience to dodge 200 ****ing lightning bolts.

Square really knows how to waste the time of obsessive collectors.

Ultimately you realize it's all a waste of time getting all the ultimate crap and the things that let you break the 9,999 barrier when you beat all the final bosses in like two seconds.

I managed to do it on one of my old files. You just gotta find a good shield with No Encounters, and give yourself a good 30 minutes. Turn off the music, turn off the lights, eliminate all other distractions and concentrate at the task at hand. I remember I had the timing with the dodging and what happened on screen down to a ****ing science, and got around 250 dodges in a row just to be safe on one of my first attempts at going for 200.

Ultimately you realize it's all a waste of time getting all the ultimate crap and the things that let you break the 9,999 barrier when you beat all the final bosses in like two seconds.

But the monster arena guy has bosses that are impossible without those things.

Also, there ARE places on the Thunder Plains where the lightning bolts happen with predictability. Find one of those places and just get into the rhythm. But honestly, I think it's not worth it.

Yeah, I did that do (with encounters). I even did that for my brother, on like 2 different save files. And the chocobo race was another hell, since you have to get below O seconds.

As bad as lightning dodging is, it doesn't even compare to the stupidity of the Thunder Plains' minigames of X-2. GOD DAMN TOWERS.

Yeah, it was mostly just my first playthrough that I had trouble with the Racing, before I got used to it.

But yeah, I'll reiterate. Thunder Plains. Towers. Argh. That is all.
