I would like to know what everyone thinks is the very best videogame couple. This means a guy and a girl who get together at the end of the game, or are supposed to be together, not two random characters you choose.I was originally going to say just RPG couples, but you can chose a couple from any genre, any system; and tell why you think they're the best.

Wander and Mono from Shadow of the Colossus is my pick for best couple. Their relationship begins when the player sees Mono's dead, limp body being carried by a sad, resolute guy. Instantly , there is an air of mystery and determination to see Mono alive. Instead of having Wander go find a magical potion or something to revive her real quick, he must slay sixteen monolithic, beautiful creatures. He must kill to revive. He also absorbs the dark essence of Dormin each time, making him more evil and undead looking. All of this for his beloved.
