I can't wait for info on PSP Go, Playstation 3 slim, and... some other stuff I don't really care about.

We know we'll at least see the new PSP Metal Gear, and most likely more of Metal Gear Solid: Rising

Which one is the "casual" Metal Gear? The one where they're removing all stealth or something. I rely on you guys for gaming news, sad but true.

I hope they explain why they're doing everything short of making the PSP into an actual phone.
          ...and that's why.

Because they are doing so poorly.

Firmware update (A MAJOR ONE) should be announced at the show, and should go live at 5 pm. I guess right now, it's streaming music videos on demand, and I'm guessing they're testing the waters (infrastructure) for a Netflix-like service in the future.

All I really care about in Sony's press conference is anything Heavy Rain-related. A few surprises would be nice, though.

Graphically yes, gameplay wise it looked pretty boring.

MAG also looks pretty stale. I know they promise huge online battles, but if anyone has played battlefield in a 64 player game, they will know that it was too many people. Every step you take you are shot and killed, I can only imagine how annoying it would be in a 200+ player game.

                  A hannah montana psp...wtf, why?

Not unless they severely overhaul their on-line store is that thing ever gonna be a success.

I thought the same about the original but the appeal was definitely in the level design and presentation. Uncharted 2 apparently boasts free climb and if there's a larger focus on environmental puzzles over "kill waves of badguys" then I'm stoked.

I just felt a sharp pain in my back pocket because just like the DSi I'll probably get drunk on launch night and buy the thing on impulse.

Jesus, 250$. Is the hard drive internal because if the thing can't be replaced I'm just going to call shenanigans right now.

heh. now they're pretending Home is something people may actually care about.

16GB internal flash memory. but you'd think the price would come down because of there being no UMD drive.

I'm just gonna spend 60 on a 16GB memory stick pro duo, and have a PSP that can do everything that the Go can, but doesnt look retarded.

                              PSP Go is very tempting...

c'mon, we need to end the show w/ a new announced Final Fantasy 7 game coming out for ps3.
