Holy Invasion was released on the PSP in 2007. The sequel (which I first heard about in last month's famitsu) is coming out soon and NIS picked up the original game to be released on the PSP in July.
Holy Invasion is basically a 2D Dungeon Keeper. For you philistines who never played the game, you create a dungeon to lure intrepid heroes to their doom. Think of a tower defense game except with greater variety, you create the layout of the dungeon, and faster gameplay. You're in charge of creating traps, monsters, and general layout of the dungeon and there are multiple creatures to create and heroes to slaughter.
Before anyone says "wow that name sucks" the Japanese original name didn't have a literal translation but resulted in something like "the nerve of those heroes" or "don't be so bold just because you're heroes" and it was a reference to a Doraemon catch phrase. Obviously the joke would have been lost on us yanks so NIS used a familiar Western pop culture reference.
