    Supervillian name

I think this is the place for this type of thing...

I have a character who is a super-villianess from the early nineties, so stylistically she should be positively liefeldian. She shrinks and she grows, essentially a combination of The Atom's powers and Giant Man's powers.

The only problem I have is that I can't come up with a code-name. A cape-name, whatever you want to call it.

I can come up with names that imply either bigness or smallness, but I can't think of anything decent that implies both. Any suggestions?

    Re: Supervillian name

Maybe just think outside the box a bit and not focus on her abilities so much as the inherent nature of her abilities?

I was going more with the idea of the laws of expansion and contraction. While not technically related to a person who can shrink or grow her own body, I think the correlation is firm enough that it could work.

Now, finding a common element from both sides of the law is proving difficult. I'm trying to figure out who pioneered the research or discovered the effects, but no such luck so far because the basic principles of the laws have been well known for a very long time throughout history. Thought it might be cool to have a vaguely reminiscent name of the discoverer of the laws.

Yes, I've gone that route once already and wouldn't mind doing it again.

We'll have to make sure to give it the proper prefix and suffix so as to make it as X-Treme as possible.

Yeah, I'd thought of that one, along with things like Micromega (which seems right up your alley) but I wasn't really satisfied with any of them.

Ideally, in the case of MinMax, her name would be Mindy as well. Mindy Maxwell.

I always thought Mobile Infantry would be a good name for a villain that uses explosive cell phones. COPYRIGHT BECAUSE IT'S IN A SCRIPT I'M WRITING OLOL

                    Mindy Montgomery Maxwell

If Byron doesn't want it, I'm taking it.

Take it. I'm planning on calling her Alice as in "Eat Me" "Drink Me."

Now I just need a good super story that I can parody for awesome but ridiculous names like Mindy "MinMax" Maxwell.

                        Also, not bad with Alice.

Wish I could take credit for it. It was actually my sister that came up with that connection.

Alice is pretty boring though. :I

I agree, but that's what I'm going for. I used up all the punny and alliterative names in the early stories and I'm transitioning to more normal names for the second half. Or last third. Or whatever you want to call it.

If she were from the sixties I would have stolen Minnie Maxwell in a second.
