What an upset! The Idol Producers spend three months trying every trick in the book to just bury this guy, and it all backfires in the end. Take that!

I've been voting for Kris ever since he trumped The Tuneless Banshee (Megan Joy) in the semifinals, so it feels great to see him win it all.

Adam's got a great career ahead of him, though.

P.S. I don't give a **** that anyone won Idol. None of them make music that's remotely interesting. The show itself is on its last legs anyway, and hopefully they can put something watchable in its time slot.

What, would you rather watch Skating with Celebrities? FOX has got nothing better and Idol's got a lot of legs left.

I only hope the Producers learn their lesson and avoid pimping anyone next season.

The only reason to watch AI is the horrible auditions at the beginning.

Why even care who wins? Kelly Clarkson is the only winner who actually managed to be successful. Losers Clay Aiken and Jennifer Hudson have succeeded pretty well too. Oh, and one of the girls that did country. Other than that they're pretty much forgotten by the time the next season starts.

The hardcore Christians were generally voting for Danny Gokey according to what I understand. When the Gokester was eliminated and they announced that Adam and Kris were separated by just 1% that week, I gained some hope that this might happen.

I think Adam's... um... "style" worked against him a bit near the end, but I thought it was pretty awesome, and he also seems like an incredibly cool guy. As long as he never again defecates on "Ring of Fire," it's all good.

Forgot him. Still it doesn't matter who wins and after all these years only a handful of them actually had any success. American Idol just gets more irrelevant every year.
