Speaking of the internet, have any of you guys's computers started freaking out and displaying 'visiting this site may harm your computer' when you try to go to a website? I read that it's caused by google, but it still happens to me when I use other search engines, even for this site...

I would recommend changing your internet explorer. Try firefox, and then get the adblock add-on for it. I've pretty much gotten rid of all pop-ups that way.

There's an addon for firefox that blocks popups? Cause like, mine came standard.

No I don't use Norton, and no it's not a popup. The whole page turns to that message and I have to either exit out or press back. I tried enabling all cookies and even put some websites on the 'trusted list' , but to no avail. I have a thing called fix it utilities that checks and deletes viruses and spyware. I ran it twice today , but it doesn't seem to help...Maybe I'll try some fireyfox.

What program are you using to browse the internet. It pretty much sounds like you might have some sort of spy/virus or just keep going to a bad site.

Dangle- Yeah, Adblock is an additional add-on that you can use along with the pop-up blocker that came with firefox that pretty much kills ALL pop-ups.

I think it may be your Fix It Utilities messing things up. Does it run anything in the background?

stay away from sites that may harm your computer. in many cases it is sites that have been reported to contain malicious programs or try to install violet code. even a site you may of trusted before could be hacked. it wont ever display for this site.

I DL'ed Firefox and it works perfectly! Dumb IE..-slap- I'm never goin back again!

Just to see if it was still bein a *****, I set my internet explorer homepage to about: blank and, lo and behold, apparently that page is harmful to my computer heh. I shall cherish the fox for the rest of my days!

doesnt sound like your problem was with internet explorder. you probably have some nasty malware on your computer that's causing it. IE doesnt do that on it's own.
