    Fun with FiFaTa stuff

    Okay, here's some stuff I came up with while working on FiFaTa.

    1) I've devised a way to recreate the way character's stats were temporarily swapped to Laguna, Kiros and Ward to a degree (from FF8)

    I've selected 4 charatcters (Inxidus, Leon, Hayner and Rebecca) who'll send their stats over to 4 "past versions" of certain characters:

    Inxidus -> Gabriel
    Leon -> Leon (younger)
    Hayner -> Joseph
    Rebecca -> Vincent

    Now, about the actual stat-swapping stuff- there is no swapping. In the character stat-upgrading events, while individual man character's stat's are upgraded and you're notified, there're secret event codes that increase a set character's stats without you being told.
    As for Hp and Mp, well, the younger Leon will have less HP and MP due to being about 10 levels down and have reduced stats (since he's younger, it makes sense that he's less experienced). As for the others, the 3 other past characters are paired with characters who have matching classes (I,E, Gabriel's a Strategist, Joseph's a Gunslinger, and Vincent's an Auroknight).
    I'm not going to spoil who these other 3 characters are.

    2) I've come up with a way to make the world map more interesting. As the game's story progresses, the world map's weather, season and music constantly rotates, so it changes the feel of the game.I set up events to change the map after every major eveny happens in individual areas.

    3) As a joke, I'm having a cameo of the final party in Dear Brave Heart, who hang out in an area called "The Hero's Guild". They basically stand around complaining that nobody likes their game. You're given the option to battle them at any time. If you do before leaving the First town for the first time, you unlock the "7-point zodiac class mode". You lose the ability to buy Psychetechs, upgrade stats, and upgrade weapons, but each of the 7 party members is given a new job and new clothes and weapons:

    Inxidus - Black Mage - Dagger
    Julinda - Summoner - Sword
    Hayner - Archer - Bow
    Leon - Samurai - Katana
    Rebecca - Warrior - Longsword
    Brass - Ninja - Katana
    Michael - White Mage - Staff

    Also, The DBH party can be killed easily.

      thanks. Sadly, I think I'm going to Nix the "Zodiac class" system. It eats up 7 additional characters and 7 additional classes. It's too ambitious.
