The game centers on the exploits of Alex, a young boy from a small town who dreams of one day becoming a great hero like his idol, Dragonmaster Dyne. When a childish adventure later turns to discovering an ancient dragon, Alex and his friends must journey across the world to gather the necessary power to become the next Dragonmaster, and save the world in the process.

I just don't get why these people don't use that talent to make something original instead of some "me too" bull****.

looks good. still has the anime cinemas.

but of course, with WD gone, if this is localized, we dont get their dub, or their versions of the songs. which were wonderful.

I'd probably buy it, even though i can play LSSSC anytime i want, it would be nice to have a PSP specific version for on the go play.

Hopefully they can do a good localization if it happens.

Giant letters or no, a final battle with Ghaleon (in spite of its epic music) with hearing the same battle quotes over and over for roughly 20 minutes is something I'll never forget.

So why did I spend so much to get Lunar Complete? Why!?!

:hulksmash

Yeah, gonna get this.

As long as it doesn't turn out mediocre like the GBA Lunar game and they keep the balls hard difficulty intact. I was constantly scraping the roof of my mouth trying to beat it. I think taking out random battles on the world map actually made the game more difficult.

Man, I thought the game was stupidly easy. Especially considering dungeons had you encountering the same 2-3 groups of enemies where you could deploy the exact same tactics to win EVERY SINGLE TIME.

That, and the "non-random battles" where they bum-rush you at every chance, so I was always properly-leveled.

i'm pretty sure i was always underleveled and constantly ran out of mp. there was just never any areas to heal so i was pretty conservative with my items.

now this was when i was weening myself off pc games which encourage you to conserve everything.

I'm not sure how Toaster was able to get through the game so easy. I'm with Marcus on this boat. Was always underleveled, always running low on MP, constantly having my ass handed to me by bosses. I eventually gave up at the red dragon's area... fire dragon... whatever he is called.

Oh yeah, the bosses leveled up with you as well. Based on the formula, you could only get the leg up on a boss for every two or three levels above their base level.

For example, I think the first boss (the big slime dude) had a base level of 9. The only way your stats got marginally better than his was when you hit level 11, then level 13, then level 15 which was pretty much impossible at that point in the game without hours and hours of grinding in that witch's forest.

I found the game easy.

That's four remakes for one game?

Man, that's... almost as much as Final Fantasy I.

The Sega CD version is still the best. :I

It also had the best opening theme song.

I'm sorry, it just does.

Me too. Once they take out the humor, it'll be a lot more blah.

Why are they taking out the humor?

Marcus and Gloom should get married.

And have one big ******ic elitist wedding.

They must be INSANE in the MEMBRANE.

Why are they taking out the humor?

Because Working Designs isn't localizing it anymore?

I really liked the humor in SSSC. I was pretty bummed when they removed most of it from EB.

Lunar 1 and both Star Oceans?

Enough of a reason to replace my broken PsP, for me.

I never had much of a problem with the difficulty in SSSC.

EBC, on the other hand, started getting a tad ridiculous around the quest to slay the false dragons. The mine where you fight the black one I remember eventually very intentionally running from every enemy sprite I could.

Theres a question, too- why haven't they attempted a rehaul of EB since the PSX/Saturn days?
