My aim is off

Has anyone ever had AIM (the instant messenger) (by AOL) decide to not load your buddy list and not let you add buddys or generally do anything regarding your list, yet you're still connected and people can still IM you?

This happens to me over AIM Express and I reinstalled and still it is stupid. I emailed aim support (hahahaha) and have yet to hear anything at all.

Anything I can do besides just getting a new screenname and trying to remember my contacts because naturally I didn't back that **** up?

I use pidgin. Never had a problem with it.

And isn't AIM Express a web based IMer?

Nah I just tried Express to make sure it was a problem on their end and not something wrong with my program/computer.
