    Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana

Suppoused to come out on the 28th. I personally can't wait for it. NIS America is a great company and it looks so... nostalgic and yet new.

it definately looks great. I really want it. I've heard a lot of good things. NIS hasn't let me down yet. God dammit!

Okay.. It's as if Breath of Fire IV had a train wreck with Legend of Mana.

        UGH. AMERICAN VOICE ACTING?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....

        Battles look dull.

        Music is okay.

Everything else looks waay too cutesy anime style for me to enjoy.

What's so special about this game?

The voice acting is quality Denethor, thank to NIS America (their localization team rocks.) Also, it's a cool game because it has many gameplay systems, but it never feels convulted or overly complicated (i.e. Legend of Mana, Vagrant Stroy, etc.)

Also, the game features interactive envrioments. Instead of a narrow path with a few paths off to the side with treasures... Well, picture Metroid / Zelda and you get my drift.

Most reviews are pretty consistant. Not great, but pretty damn good (most give it a 8/9).

Ehh, I dunno. I'm still iffy on the whole look of it.

Wow, I've never heard of this game.

All of my absolute favorite RPGs, including FFIII, CT, Legaia 2 and EB, I knew nothing about and played on a wing. I found those games excellent. So, I'll wing this one too and see if I like it.

This somehow reminds me that I have to beat Disgaea.

                  Looks pretty run-of-the-mill to me.

I'd definitely buy it for PSP or for $20.

                          PSP Games are expensive...

But the art style of this game... a little too cutesy and the backdrop of most screenshots look foggy. Anyway, I still want this game. Guess I'll just play the sweet GCN re-make of Resident Evil until then...

At my local retailer they're $49.99 in Canadian currency, no more than any of the other new games in the store.

Yes they are more than $20 but my point is that I'd pay more for a game on PSP because I can play it on the go. Which is good for me.
