The game comes out next week. While the first one wasn't exactly phenomenal it had promise. Hopefully this title will take what was in the last one and build on to it to make it out to be the way the first one should have. I mean honestly... the AI in the last one was so bad that they would keep blasting enemies with attacks that heal them. Was thinking about waiting until I see some reviews to buy it, but look at the nice pre-order bonus. (http://kotaku.com/5222916/check-out-the-package-on-devil-summoner-2) I'd buy it just for the plush. Now if only I can find a regular Jack Frost plush that I've been wanting. He is adorable. :heart

It's Atlus. Of course I preordered this some time ago.

The good news that you don't have to feel bad about not playing it. The casing looks nice.

Anyway, while waiting for the game I've been trying to play Persona 3 Fes. Which I'm finding to be difficult because I burned myself out with the original. Dammit, that is annoying. As for the Devil Summoner 2, there is one bit that has me worried. I read that now you can summon 2 demons at a time, while that isn't a bad thing, it makes me worried that rather than fixing the AI problems that they are going to try covering it up by adding more. Wouldn't be the first game to ever do so. I've already preordered the thing so I will have to keep my fingers crossed. I'll let everyone know how it is once it comes out in a few days. I hope it will be a worthy investment.

Anyone playing it? I am on chapter 4 already. Level 38.

Defintally better than the first game so far. I think they could have done more to the parts with the Tento Lords. They could have shown a little more then giving somewhat vague hints on what happen to the women.

I am hooked on fusing my demons and getting better ones. I like how you can use your old data from DS1 to this one. But I haven't come across any demons from the first game in a while now. Maybe it is only for the first part of the game...?

It is a low budget game, where they could have used more animation and voice, but it is really enjoyable to play. And there is a lot of side missions to do.
