I have a $50 rebate card I can use on anything.

So, video games was my first idea. I've got a Wii, DS and a computer. Any games (or things from ThinkGeek) that you'd recommend?

Edit: My oldest brother (not hito) also agreed with Resident Evil 4 Wii, so we just ordered that off ebay. Money left: $33

you so rarely talk about games that I dont even know what games or genres you like, or I would give suggestions.

If you like music/beat games, I'd suggest OSU! Tatakae! Ouendan 1 & 2 for the DS.

It doesn't really matter, as long as it's nothing too kiddish. Really, as long as it'd be fun to play, I don't mind. I need to expand the genre's that I play anyway, because it's so narrow (with my lack of time and frugility), so really any suggestion is welcome.

I don't know about you, but I want one of these (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/games/ba5a/).

I was just lookin at that the other day.

That thing is so cool.

That would mean you would have to steal games using ROMS and the like.

I'm playing Demigod right now. It's 40 bucks online, but 35 on Amazon or Newegg. meaning you can get somthing else cheap along with it. It's pretty fun to play arouhnd with but the online still needs some work because it's P2P.

For Wii, Mad World is a nice romp. Rune Factory is ok. There are also some WiiWare titles out there you might want to take a look at.

Vampire: Bloodlines is a great RPG to look at as well As long as you download some patches for it to fix the bugs. It's one of my favorite RPGs of all time though.

For the DS, I recommend either Big Bang Mini or Space Invaders Extreme. While neither of these will give you a lot of mileage (they do provide replay value though), they are thoroughly entertaining and should be able to be found for $20 each.

If you're looking to expand on your horizons a bit, give either Zack & Wiki for the Wii a shot (it's a throwback to old school point & click puzzle games) or Chrono Trigger for the DS (which is widely revered as on the of the best RPGs ever made). Resident Evil 4 for the Wii is a lot of fun too, even though it's pretty violent. If you don't have a problem with that, though, I really reccomend giving it a shot because it's one of the best videogames that I've ever played.

All I know about your taste is that you like Harvest Moon.

So I would maybe suggest the new Rune Factory wii. But you said you wanted to expand your horizons.

And I agree with Toaster, Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition is a great suggestion and you can find it cheap.

Not to get off topic, where are these patches that you are talking about RD? Cause i was about to reinstall the game and actually PLAY it this time, but if there are alot of bugs, i'd prefer to know where the patches are.

What kind of computer do you have?

I'm playing The Dark Spire on the DS which I think is awesome but you probably wouldn't like it. On the Wii I'm playing Wario World whatever but it's not that good.

I'm in a Fallout mood, so I suggest some Fallout for ya!

For PC, Fallout Trilogy is only about $20, and it's 3 games on one disc.

I dunno if you can use your card to buy it online from the link below (it has an option to let you download it), but if ya got no trouble getting the game in stores you could try that.

http://fallout.gamesplanet.com/game-fallout-trilogy2-interplay.html

They're older games, so I dunno how you are about graphics. Although, I think they still look good for what it is.

Or you could just buy Fallout 3 if your computer can run it.

Windows XP.

So, I can't run any of those fancy games like Mass Effect or The Witcher.

games run just fine on XP (in many cases, FAR better than vista). all depends on the software.

hit up systemrequirementslab.com to see what your system can run.

I'd make some suggestions, but with only $33 left, that kinda narrows your choices down quite a bit. I'm not sure what games on Wii I could recommend besides some of the WiiWare stuff, which would entail you getting a Wii point card for $20. I'd personally recommend Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles: My Life as a King, but it's like 1500 points ($15), which might not be the best use of your money. I'd also recommend Bit. Trip Beat, as it's only 600 points, but if you got both of those, it'd go over the 2000 points by 100 points. Hell, I could check to see how many points I have saved up, and gift you that or maybe something else if you gave me your Friend Code (assuming you're online). At least I know YOU'D appreciate a gift, unlike some certain gloomier individuals that sell their consoles less than a month later.

No rep for that or TV suggestions or anything, either. I feel cheap and used.

But that's neither here nor there. If you want a DS game that would last you QUITE some time, and is very easy to play in short bursts, Etrian Odyssey is usually only about $20 now. It's pretty hardcore, and it IS a level-grinding dungeon crawl (turn-based RPG), but there's an immense sense of satisfaction that comes from investing the time in it and seeing your own personalized characters progress in any way you want them to.

And Fruple, there's nothing stopping you from getting GC or GBA games, either, as the GC stuff will play on the Wii, and the GBA stuff will play on the DS. Yeah, that's older stuff, but probably a lot less expensive, so you can maximize your gamers per money ratio. If you've not yet played WarioWare for either the GC or the GBA (it's basically the same game), I'd highly recommend it. I'm pretty sure you've told me that you already have FFTA, otherwise I'd recommend that.

Anyway, have fun with your choices!

I suggest the unofficial patches by WESP as well though, they're really good.

Also the companion mod is really great.
