Who Uses Facebook?

I'm just curious because I have a Myspace and Twitter account, so what does Facebook offer that the first two I mentioned don't? Any reason to use it over Twitter or Myspace? Several people in my family use it but can't give me a good reason why I should. Discuss.

I think Facebook is the most refined place for social networking.

Though it is starting to bring in the younger masses with all those ridiculous applications. I disapprove of that very much.

i use it only for the online games. its the only place where i can play and get first place. im not really into the spam your life for everyone to see craze.

It's just a well presented site that used to have little ad/spam overflow. The application side of Facebook can thankfully be very easily blocked but it also just depends on who your friends are. Most of my friends and family are on there as well as my coworkers. Facebook itself is wonderful for getting groups of people together. My coworkers at one place I work all have a group on Facebook we use to trade shifts. As long as someone works, our bosses don't care.

I use Facebook. I love it and it is an addiction.

It's very user friendly and most everyone I know has it.

Yeah, as long as you prune the apps Facebook is a pretty helpful thing. The only problem is that (to my knowledge) you can't block what appears in your feed - so if your friends take surveys all the time, you're forced to live with it. :/

The flash games aren't so bad, its the loads of totally ridiculous apps, like the "Which Star Wars character are you?" app.

I play Mad Scientist and Farm Town. Good fun.

On the "if you had to put together a team to save the world" I chose John McClane, John Rambo, Optimus Prime, Mick Dundee and William Wallace.

I like this along with the other top 5 things. But they get very repetitive.

I love facebook for picture sharing abilities.

and it's a cheap way to stay in contact with family and friends when they are 4 provinces away
