    My Run-in With Bowser

So, there is this pond by where I live (just a few buildings down) and we decided to go there today. That is where I met Bowser, whom I seen hiding in this hole:

    Later on, I caught him:

And finally, this is what the might of Bowser did to my finger:

Moral of the story: Bowser is the king of the koopas, so don't **** with him.

I have a ton of pictures of my pond walk today at my http://www.flickr.com/photos/30272658@N05/.

    Today was a fun day!

Why did you stick your finger in bowser's mouth?
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

Seriously, why would you bother it?

I didn't. When I caught him he kicked my finger with his back foot and bloodied it up. (His back claws are really sharp). I'm not dumb enough to put my fingers by his mouth, a turtle this massive could tear off my entire hand if it wanted to. (I'm guessing he was 40 or 50 pounds). That was a complete accident, normally I am more careful.

I'm a huge reptile fan. I wanted to photograph him (which I was successfully able to do). I've been doing this for over a decade. I go on nature trails all over the place and photograph as much wildlife as I can.

I wanna know how you would like it if an alien beamed you up and took photos of you.

I didn't beam anything up or take anything from the wild. I only had the turtle a few feet from the shoreline for less than five minutes. He's happily swimming around right now. I seen him a few hours later.

                          Awesome.

I haven't touched nearly enough turtles in my life.

Unless he's already died from swine flu.
