Thought I'd share anyway.

Variety says that the Mirage Group, which owns the property, is moving forward with a live-action film focusing on the origins of the iconic crime fighters.

Legendary Pictures former chief marketing officer Scott Mednick is producing the new film alongside Galen Walker, who produced the 2007 computer-animated TMNT. Peter Laird, Gary Richardson, Frederick Fierst, Eric Crown and Napoleon Smith III are executive producing the film, which is based on the characters created by Laird and Kevin Eastman.

Laird said the film will remain true to the spirit of the original comic books. He added that the film may employ face replacement technology, which would allow the turtles to be much more expressive.

TMNT wasn't a total suckfest, but it could of be been better.
I'm actually looking forward to this new project.

I dunno if bonking and tripping guys counts.

In TMNT2 the first thing they do is toss their weapons away to throw guys in nets and juggle and ****.

The CGI TMNT is notable for that Leo vs. Raph fight. Where they... use their weapons.

didnt they go the standard cartoon route and have all the badguys be robots when they sliced them up? I could have sworn i saw Raph and Leo slice and dice a few robot Foot Clan guys.

Also with cartoons and laser guns. Oh **** people cant shoot each other with bullets! Heavens no its too violent! But oh lawd, give everybody LASERS and they can shoot the crap out of each other!

I never understoood why on Spiderman and Xmen everybody had lasers, but on Batman all the crooks had tommy guns, and revolvers.
