It just seems like no one really talks about it anymore (aside from the newer members). I mean, does anyone even play new games when they're released for their respected Maker? Even more so, how many people are still active in their RPGM projects? It just seems this site has lost some of its focus. It's understandable, I guess. When something becomes old, people generally move on to new things. I just find it sad to see the console RPG Maker series as a whole slipping away as time moves on.

Re: Are any of you still interested in the RPG Maker series?
I just finished up a session of working on Hell's Dining Room... so my answer is "heck yes!"
When things go smoothly, I don't really have any reason to post, except to give updates about my game and its development (which I do in my Game Forum). I wish there was more discussion in the RM forums, of course, but sometimes it's simply a case of "none is needed," even when the community is still active.

Re: Are any of you still interested in the RPG Maker series?
I still use and play on RPGMaker 1. I even created a commercial relating to it recently.
It's been years since there was anything that I didn't understand in RPGM1. I don't do much in the terms of talking about my games, though.
You also have to remember that most Makers are old news by now. All we need is RPG Maker 4. PC RPG Makers aren't bad, but really more people go for the consoles. XP and VX just don't draw the same attention as RPG Maker 1 - 3.Last edited by MRevelle83; 04-27-2009, 12:33 PM.

Re: Are any of you still interested in the RPG Maker series?
I have yet to download any games, but I still dabble. I sold rpgm 1 and 3 intentionally, and sold 2 accidentally. I bought XP about 2 months ago or something like that, and mostly mess around with that now.
I really enjoy working with 2 and XP.Last edited by Seraph; 04-27-2009, 08:21 PM.

I agree with all of this, at least as far as the US audience seems to be concerned.Originally posted by MRevelle83 View PostI still use and play on RPGMaker 1. I even created a commercial relating to it recently.

I'm particularly looking forward to 4, because it feels to me like they've hit nearly all the elements you'd see in the "perfect" Maker at one point or another... now they just need to put it all together into one intuitive package.
