Yay. My vehicle is imperative, though. Relatives have to go so many places.

Same here! I just got a new bike as a graduation present (I haven't graduated quite yet, but my old bike broke so my parents got it early) and it is a sexy beast.Originally posted by Valkysas View PostNothing. I have a bike. It's great! No gas, no insurance...

Re: How much are you paying at the pump?
I bike/Marta to school/around town and I drive for long distances. Gas hasn't gone above $1.95 in a long while here in Atlanta. I spend about $50 on gas a month to get me everywhere I need to be. It wouldn't be nearly as much a month if my girlfriend didn't live 35 miles away.

$2.00 or so a gallon. I don't really track it, since I only fill up once a month or so. Even at $4.00, I'd only be blowing an extra $300 a year. It's nice to live really close to work.

I haven't bought fuel in three weeks, and I normally fill a tank up once every 2 months now. Last time I bought any diesel it was $2.09/gallon. Soon I won't be paying anything for fuel for long distance trips, as well as paying nothing for fuel by using a bike around the city.

Bikes are lame.
I for one enjoy cruising around town on a nice day listening to tunes. There is also a nice lake nearby town, which I like to go around by too.
But I guess you can pop on your headphones to your Sony cassette walkmans and ride your banana bikes around town, but it just aint the same.
