              I dunno. Making uninformed opinions is fun. They are totally going to invade you guys. I mean hell, us Canadians already have. You've already lost.

              They certainly have the man power though. Their army while not as technically advanced as the US, their sheer numbers make up for that, and if they could all somehow make it onto US soil, we'd all be ****ed.

                    I have two things to say:

                    This is dumb. China's economy depends too much on us buying cheapo crap from them, and invading us would undermine it.

                    Will this move try to overtop the excess violence for which the original was famed?

                      When I saw it I was too bored to notice any excess violence. I remember Harry Dean Stanton yelling "AVENGE ME!!" and about 10,000 campfire scenes.

                      One good thing about the ****ty remake, at least it might be more exciting.

                        Never saw Red Dawn, but I did like the anti-Red Dawn that came out around the same time...the one about the kid or kids (I forget now) who befriend a Russian military guy who washes up on our soil, and try to help him get back home while evading the "bad guys" (ie-the US officials) who think he's planning an invasion or something.



                        It's kinda just like E.T., except a little bit different.
