    Jon Stewart

I'd just like to take some time to say that Jon Stewart is probably one of the best media heroes of our day. Never before has so much bull**** been called out than on the Daily Show. There was even a study saying that people who watch the Daily Show regularly are better informed about world events than people who watch regular cable news.

    Examples why:
Full Interview of Jim Cramer from Mad Money

    Stewart on Crossfire:

    On O'Reilly:

Interviewed on his impact on the 2008 election:

    Jon Stewart ****ing rocks.
    ...and that's why.

He sure does, and Colbert rocks as well.

I give him major props. He could just coast, but he has balls calling these guys out like that.

        I only watch Chocolate News.

Not actually. I'm not even sure if it's still on. But it was really funny.

I am a supporter of the Daily Show and the Colbert Report.
Comedy is a great shield to protect yourself with while exposing bull****.

He was my favorite Green lantern.

This is why our media is such a joke. Jon Stewart, though I respect him, is nothing but a comedian.

FYI: Reporters without boarders ranks our media as the 36th most free.

Jon Stewart may be a good interviewer, but he's sort of an irksome source of comedy. He garners applause more than laughs and the times when he's panhandling for a reaction by putting on a "funny" voice or making faces... ugh.

I'd have more respect for Jon Stewart if he were actively doing anything besides just calling people out. Yeah it's neat that he made Jim Cramer his ***** but at the end of the day has anything changed? One night he'll have some guy on the show who wrote a book about how Dick Cheney lied and he'll profess to be so angry that the Bush Administration got away with it and how it's such a betrayal and how next week they'll have some guy who wrote a book about the Taliban.

He's informing the public. How is that not doing something?

I have to agree that informing the public IS doing something.
