Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen - vidya gaem

    Teaser Trailer
    http://www.transformersgame.com/media

It already looks better than the first one, but thats not saying much. The first game was totally different from the movie, and everybody had different voices, and all the missions were friggin terrible, etc. It was crappy, but it was pretty cool to run around as a decepticon and destroy Sams house.

I need my robotech/macross transforming mode fix.

This runs on the EXACT SAME ENGINE as the first console game.

    just sayin'.

but it's developed by the guys who did the DS game for the first movie, which was actually pretty damn great.

If its running on the same game engine, lets hope they can do more with it than the last team did. :/

The last Transformers movie game had the two main things I wanted from it. An open city and being able to transform at any time. Unfortunately they didn't come up with anything interesting to do in the city. Every mission was drive here beat up these guys, drive there beat up this guy. And the combat sucked. Also being able to switch between bots at will rather than being certain ones for certain missions would be nice.

The first game was alright. I liked it for what it was, running around, blowing up things, etc.

I never even got around to the Autobot Story though, I just didn't like it.

            That's pretty awsome really.

Transformers: Deception is one of my favorite DS games out there. Sadly they are probably going to just go by the story of the movie instead of thier own thing. Which is sad cause the DS game had a great ending.

During my demo, I was told that three key factors governed Luxoflux's design of Revenge of the Fallen, the first of which was player choice. Luxoflux wanted to give gamers more control over the experience besides just choosing what faction you belong to. Yes, you will be able to play as both the Autobots and the Decepticons, but you'll have much more freedom to select characters and the game will apparently boast the biggest roster in any Transformers game to date. The overall mission structure has also been reworked to give players more control by making the experience non-linear.

The second design factor was recreating the transformation system to make it purpose driven. Luxoflux wants you to be able to transform at any time and have a specific reason for doing so. The transformations can be used not only for augmenting attacks but also for traversing the game's terrain.

The final design consideration was to expand the experience beyond single-player, so Revenge of the Fallen will feature a full online multiplayer component, which definitely had me intrigued. If the gameplay really does turn out to be as fun and rewarding as the developers hope, the multiplayer modes (which will include game types like deathmatch, team deathmatch, and other unannounced affairs) could be incredibly enjoyable. After all, facing off against other Transformers is what it's all about.
              Well, consider me cautiously optimistic.

Devastator boss battle will probably be pretty cool.

I was slo dissapointed that Shockwave was in the first game, but not in the movie anywhere.
